A guide to working with Obviously

We are an exclusive community where incredible influencers are matched with top brands for rewarding and fun collaborations. Brands like Saks OFF 5TH, Sephora, and Google trust us to connect them with the best influencers on social media. Now that you’re here, you can have the opportunity to work with them and hundreds of other great brands.
Let us walk you through the process.
How do I get started?
First off, don’t be concerned if you don’t have a project right when you sign in. This is completely normal. The awesome thing about Obviously is that we are real people handpicking partnerships between brands and influencers. We do not work with algorithms or randomly pair people together. Instead, we carefully evaluate your profile to get a feel for your aesthetic, interests and strengths. This can take some time! Our goal is to establish partnerships that can lead to ongoing relationships between brands and influencers. In other words: we don’t want to match you with just anyone. We want to match you with someone you love that totally loves you back.
All that said, we cannot guarantee a collaboration for everyone on our platform. We are sincerely always working to find a project that is a great match for you, so please be patient.
How does the process work?
When we find a project that is a fit (based on your interests, aesthetic, location, following, etc) we’ll start off by shooting you an email. Another great thing about Obviously is you don’t have to continuously check back for projects. You can trust that we’re doing the work and will reach out to you when we’re ready.
In the invitation email, there will be a link to let us know if you’re interested in a project. There is absolutely no obligation to commit to anything you don’t love, and there are no negative repercussions to passing on a project. If you’re interested, it is important to sign up through the link. This allows brands to view your profile on our site. Make sure to sign up quickly as the best projects can fill up fast!
Once you’ve expressed your interest, the final step is for the brand to select which of our qualified influencers they’re most excited to work with. This way, by the time the project is up and running, everyone is happy. We will reach out via email and let you know either way.
Who decides what I post?
You do! Brands choose you because they love your creativity and your style. We will normally give some simple guidelines, such as which hashtag to use, but other than that it’s up to you. Just be authentic and do what you do best!
How do I get rewarded?
We always let you know up front what the reward will be for a project, so you can decide if it’s a good fit for you. Most of our projects are paid and generally have a set budget. Any payment less than $1000 will be processed via PayPal. Above that rate, you will have to send us a direct invoice.
