Where are you from?: I am originally from Silver Spring, Maryland, but my Mom is Chilean and growing up I would spend months at a time there.

What is your Instagram/blog page all about?: The Lunar Phase is a fashion and lifestyle blog. I focus on versatile style for every occasion. Just as the moon is seen in different lights, so are we depending on what we wear and how we present ourselves sartorially. It changes based on our mood, and the events in our lives. We are constantly evolving and so is our style. I am taking my followers through the phases of my life, a young millennial living in NYC, and what I choose to wear throughout that journey.

Where do you get inspiration from?: One of my favorite places to gain inspiration is from the streets of New York City. It’s such a densely populated area that you see so many people pass by each day. I regularly take pictures of people on the street when they're not looking, or make mental notes. I also love Instagram and to follow my fellow bloggers who are so stylish.

What is your favorite campaign with Obviously and why?: My favorite campaign with Obviously was working with Tictail, because it introduced me to the brand. I’m now a brand ambassador and work very closely with the team on a regular basis. We have formed an amazing long-term relationship.

If you could list 3 of your favorite Instagram pages, who are they and why?:

1. @the_salty_blonde she was the Instagram influencer/blogger who inspired me to start my own feed.

2. @weworewhat is a #bosslady creating her own brands, and on Forbes 30 Under 30. She is my age and I aspire to have those achievements.

3. @_iamjuli_ is an amazing photographer who mixes love, passion, and romance in all of her photos. She was featured in the Washington Post for capturing an amazing wedding moment where the bride was lifted up in the air by the groom.

What is your favorite restaurant? My favorite restaurant has to be Beauty & Essex. It’s in my neighborhood and I love how there is a pawn shop as an entrance which juxtaposes such a glamorous interior. You feel like a movie star when you’re dining, plus the food is amazing.

Your favorite place(s) to take photos?: I love to mix it up. I always try and find new spots, but something about the cobblestone streets of Soho always has me coming back.

Favorite social media platform and why? I love Instagram because I am a visual person and love to browse beautiful imagery.

What sets your feed apart from others?: I don’t feel I have to define myself or stick to a certain theme, because I am constantly evolving and my followers are growing with me. I dress to my mood and what events and occasions I have going on. I capture versatile style, which is why I can be sporty one day and feminine or classy the next. I am full of ideas and use my platform to express my opinions and what I’m passionate about. I just ran a female empowerment campaign where I posted sophisticated boudoir photos to celebrate body confidence and acceptance. My page is exciting and I will keep you on your toes.

Social media trend you’d like to see less of and why? I think that the social media trend of inhaling nitrous oxide is terrible. It doesn’t make me laugh.

Favorite photo editing app? I love to use PS Express.

Favorite inspirational quote and why? “Fake it till you make it,” it’s my motto in life. There are times that I have no idea what I’m doing, but if I mentally focus and think that I can, eventually I always get there. It’s my special trick to succeed. Just like if you’re unhappy but you smile, your body releases chemicals in your brain that think you’re happy, and eventually you get there! Try it!
