There’s fashion that’s comfortable and fashion that makes a statement.  And sometimes, rarely, there’s fashion that does both. Shikha Mehta (@thekneehighsocks_) is a stylist, image consultant, and fashion blogger from Mumbai, India. Her brand of laid-back playfulness mixed with chic sophistication is the perfect dose of positivity to brighten your day. She manages to stay impeccably on-trend without taking herself too seriously, a refreshing change in a saturated and competitive landscape. Plus, check out the composition of that shot. This is Mental Health Awareness Month and I can't wait to be hearing what's your idea of mental health. What you think we should do more and more, everyday to break the stigma around the it. // For all I gather is that we eventually have to talk about how we feel.
We have to move forward in the direction of talking more about what we actually feel in the moment. To not let our thoughts kill us. One day, at a time. One conversation, at a time.

Aishwarya Sharma (@figuramoda) describes herself as a fashion activist. We describe her as undeniably awesome. On her blog, she writes about fashion, beauty, and mental health with a candor that is both raw and refreshing. She talks honestly about her love for fashion on the one hand and the toxic elements of the fashion industry on the other. And she does it in a nuanced way that communicates clearly: there is no contradiction here, only an opportunity for exploration. It’s like if your best-dressed friend was also your therapist.

So dreamy and picturesque, East Sikkim has been a revelation!
The people are so warm and simple and the peaks so cold and white. As we drove our bright blue Luna through the trippy Dzuluk Loops and into the charming village at Gnathang Valley, my heart skipped so many beats. I feel so goddamn blessed to be traversing this gorgeous region in a caravan!
Even though the drive through the famous Baba Mandir and Tsomgo Lake turned out to be a tad underwhelming with tons of people riding yaks and trashing the place, I'm so glad we had this languid moment to ourselves right by the lake.
Some hot tea and a view to die for. All inside our home on wheels, isn't she cozy? 😍

Ever wanted to jump in a caravan and travel around India? After following Sharanya Iyer (@trulynomadly) you just might give it a try. In the short-term, however you can make the journey vicariously through her Instagram. She’s braved flat tires, missed turns, and even a few tears to bring us closer to some of India’s most remote regions, connecting with the people she meets along the way and sharing their stories. She is an expert traveler with a sincere curiosity about the world. And it goes without saying that her photos are lovely!
