How to Use Lists, Our Favorite Google Maps Feature
For the past couple weeks, Obviously has been telling you all about Google Maps and the Local Guides program. We've given you the low-down on how becoming a Local Guide can help you reach a wider audience and shared some of Obviously influencers' own experiences working with Local Guides. In our third (and final) installment of our Google Maps and Local Guides blog series, we're talking about our favorite way they contribute to Google Maps: Lists.
What are Lists?
Thanks for asking! Lists are collections of places and things to do in an area. Whether you’re creating a list of your local favorites to share with friends or a a list of places you want to go to during your upcoming trip, lists are a great way to save, share, or learn from others.
How do I create one?
It’s easy! Open a location and tap “Save” to add it to an existing list or create a new one by tapping “New List.” As you add locations to your lists, they’ll appear on your map with a pin. You can also add titles and descriptions to your lists, which can be found under the “Saved” tab under “Your Places.” Follow your friends’ lists and share your own lists by making them public.
